The featured instructor for the weekend will be Sensei Steven Tatsuo Toyoda
Executive Director of Aikido Association of America.

Stephen Tatsuo Toyoda, son of Aikido Association of America founder Fumio Toyoda Shihan, has been studying Aikido since the age of three. After graduating with a degree in Biology from the University of Chicago Champagne Urbana, Mr. Toyoda has been Uchideshi under Y. Kobayashi Shihan in Kodaira, Japan. Mr. Toyoda is the Executive Director for the Aikido Association of America and the Dojocho of Tenshinkan Dojo in Chicago, Illinois and has taught throughout the United States.

We invite you to join us at Methuen Aikido for 3 days of Aikido training. The event will be held on February 15th, 16th and 17th 2008.

Training is open to students of any rank from any dojo. This seminar will feature quality instruction in empty hand techniques (throwing pinning, and striking) and weapons techniques with traditional boken, staff, and tanto.

There will be an emphasis on Taisabaki, Kihon Waza, Toyoda Shihan's Oyo; and Henka Waza will also be included if time permits.
